"So they [the gopis] simply thought, 'Oh, He might be a demigod.' So they never tried to analyze Krishna, but their love for Krishna there is no comparison. That is wanted. jnana-karmadyanavritam. Whether Krishna is God or not, let me test. You can test, but pure love means whatever Krishna may be, He's my loving object... We have no other business than to love Krishna, whatever He may be."
