One time an engagement was lined up for Srila Prabhupada to speak at a college in Boston but it was done at the last minute without much preparation nor avertising. Hardly anybody showed up. In a large auditorium there were only a scattering of people who wandered in because they heard the kirtan going on before Srila Prabhupada spoke. Satsvarupa was embarrassed and apologized to Srila Prabhupada for the poor attendance. Prabhupada told him that we should not be attached to the results -- that our business is to preach Krishna consciousness. "We will preach to the sun, we will preach to the moon, preach to the stars and preach in the wilderness ... because Krishna is everywhere."
