Greetings and Hare Krishna.
Today is our eight anniversary online and we'd like to thank you for your kind support of The Prabhupada Connection over the years. As mentioned in our Welcome Page written eight years ago, this website is a very humble offering to His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, Founder-Acarya of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness, our dearmost friend and eternal spiritual master. Without you, our faithful readers, this site could not exist, nor would it have lasted this long in Cyberspace. Thank you all most sincerely.
As you may have noticed, sometimes we're able to post a lot of offerings and sometimes not. It all depends on other related duties and responsibilities. For those who are unaware, due to a large volume of correspondence -- especially from newcomers (and old-timers too) -- we're not always able to spend as much time on posting and writing on this website as we'd like to. But that's all part of the service and we try to follow the simple motto of "doing what we can with what we have." Nonetheless, it's always our pleasure to try and serve you to the best of our abilities.
On a more personal note, I'd also like to mention that I'm presently caring for my mother, (Momji, age 88), and often spend much time nowadays assisting her and reading to her from Srila Prabhupada's books as she prepares for the next stage of her spiritual journey. It's a big responsibility since I'm the eldest and only son nearby. During the past five years, Momji has suffered greatly on the physical level, yet she continues to chant Hare Krishna and maintain her unshakeable faith in Srila Prabhupada and the devotees (see one of her many devotional paintings above).
However, please rest assured that we're still committed to this website -- our devotional offering to Srila Prabhupada -- and will continue in spite of these and other setbacks, albeit sometimes a little slower than usual or desired. Kindly bear with us as we face these challenges as best we can. In the meantime, we hope that you enjoy your time here at The Prabhupada Connection. Thank you kindly.
